R&B songstress Toni Braxton stopped by The Wendy Williams Show this morning to reveal a few things about her music career, her dating life, the upcoming Lifetime movie “Twist of Faith,” as well as the next season of Braxton Family Values.
How do you feel about Toni Braxton stepping away from the recording studio? Check out the interview below.

Toni, I hope you are going to read this. Life has many challenges, as someone who’s studied psychology, I did not pick anything from your body language that you’ve lost the love of recording music. You are quitting for all the wrong reasons ( that’s my opinion), you are giving up because of the challenges you’re facing, not because you don’t love music anymore. Music is who you are, that’s what you are, that’s what defines Toni Braxton. You will face competition, you will face changes, but don’t be a quitter, for your own sanity, for your kids and above all for your fans. Don’t go down that road without a fight. Everything in hard is easy. Go back to making the Toni Braxton music, your music, not what’s current. Stick to your guns and be around people who support you, find good management, that does go a long way. But don’t leave your platform for someone else, no matter how they may make you feel little because they are doing better at tis moment, just remember you are Toni Braxton and you can sing. You are a superstar. You are born to sing.
I wish you well and Gods blessing.
A really concerned fan.
Xoxo
I meant to say, everything in life is hard, nothing’s easy.

T; THE WORLD CHANGES AND TURNS MYSTERIOUSLY. THIS MIGHT BE THE DOOR OPENING TO , TV/FILM PROD/DIRECTOR ? HOW DO U FEEL ABOUT THAT ? DON.
I pray that this message is read by Toni. This is coming from a person who is living what you are living. I am a couple of weeks from 44 years of age and I am in the mist of reinventing a career because lupus, RA, and anemia turned my life upside down six years ago. Look, you know your boby and what you are feeling. People that have not dealt with this very physical thing that can only be seen through blood work! People look at you and feel that you just need to push harder but they have no idea how fatigued this disease can make a person. If acting allow you to have a career that you find peace in, do it! :) I have had to change my career; left a career that I loved but reality is reality. People do not understand that when we push too hard it makes the disease flare up. You can reinvent your career and still be the Toni Braxton that we love. I don’t know you but I am a fan of the show and a fan of Toni Braxton, the artist. I watch you and have been wanting to contact you because I know what you are experiencing. I have been through so much sense lupus found me but shod has been faithful in allowing me to have peace in the change but it only came when I accepted that I could still be me but I had to adjust my life. I will be graduating from college this fall; something that I would have never believed I could have done but my fight to have a life lead me back to school spring 2010 and fall 2013 it is coming to an end. It has been hard and still is but I am happy. Connecting with other lupus carriers is what help me got through the hard times other than my faith. No one will understand if they are but living it; it is a complicated disease. I know when I stopped taking my drugs I lived a happier life. On the drugs I was sad and depressed — I had no life. I only take my drugs when the disease flares at a high level; before I made that decision I was wasting away. My doctor and I have a good relationship and he respects my decision. Bottom line is; it’s my life, whatever the drugs do I will have to pay the cost. There is no cure so the medications only treat systems. I went for. Two drugs to third teen in about four months. I went from a size 10 to a 16 I. Four months. I didnt see a quality if life improving but me having no quality of life. Do your research! You will be surprised as to what you find. I am prayi g for you; may God’s peas e rest in your heart.
