Toni Braxton’s highly anticipated new album Pulse is now in stores. With first single Yesterday, Hands Tied and Make My Heart. Keep checking back for future updates on Toni’s performances and appearances.

Site Note: Sorry for the lack of updates by my academic life has been taking most of my time, so I don’t have as much time to continue updating the site the way I use to. If anyone is interested in being my co-webmaster please email me. You must know word press, html and some sorta graphic making skills. If I cannot find a co-webmaster to rely on when I cant update, I will be forced to shut down the site or put it on hiatus, which i don’t want to do since Toni needs out support specially since Pulse was just released.

Toni Braxton Tried to Pull a Jay-Z

Toni Braxton contemplated retirement, but like Jay-Z, the game kept calling her back.

The R&B songstress, whose debut album was released 16 years ago, couldn’t turn her back on her fans. “I enjoy performing so much that I had to do it,” she tells Walmart Soundcheck.

But there was a moment when she almost decided to hang up the mic like another high-profile artist. “I tried to pull a Jay-Z and say, ‘I’m gonna retire,’” the mother of two reveals. “He couldn’t do it either. It’s in my DNA. I had to come out and perform.”

Braxton’s first album on Atlantic Records, Pulse, is due in February. It will feature collaborations with Robin Thicke and Trey Songz, who duets with her on the lead single “Yesterday.”
